Brazil · Residency by Investment

Four routes. One threshold decides which is yours.

Brazil grants permanent residency to qualifying investors from day one — not after five years of waiting. The route you take depends almost entirely on how much capital you can move, and where you move it. Set your figure and see.

Why Brazil

The case, argued rather than asserted.

PERMANENT FROM DAY ONE

Brazil grants permanent residency on approval. There is no temporary tier to renew your way through, and no waiting period before your status becomes secure.

4 years

Naturalisation eligibility after four years of permanent residency, reduced to one year for those with a Brazilian spouse or child. Brazil permits dual nationality; you do not renounce anything.

NO LANGUAGE TEST TO ENTER

Portuguese proficiency is required for naturalisation, not for residency. You have four years to learn it, and we will help you plan for the CELPE-Bras examination.

R$150,000

The lowest credible investment-residency threshold in the Americas. Approximately one fifth of what a Caribbean citizenship programme now costs, for a document that is not subject to visa-access renegotiation.

You have probably already looked at the Caribbean.

We run a Caribbean citizenship practice, so this is not a competitor's argument. Since 2023, Caribbean programmes have faced visa-access rollbacks across the UK, Ireland and the Schengen area, alongside a coordinated price floor. Brazil is a different proposition — a G20 economy, a residency rather than a purchased passport, and a threshold that has not moved.
